Typing, Exciting !

         We have typing lessons in our Computer 1. Actually, I have already experienced it before I enter College. I have attended a training class in Caloocan City Manpower Training Center for 3 months in our city hall. It is Basic Computer Operations, under the IT  Course programs they were providing and it is just for free. Well, except for the Miscellaneous fees which includes the uniform, twenty-five pesos for water and electricity consumption and also some contributions that totalled two hundred fifty pesos. Hm... I have also have a sweet memory in our uniform because at that time, it is in the heat of election so, our mayor and his son who's running for mayor in our city put their gorgeous faces in front of our uniform. Sad to say, his son didn't won and he won as the Congressman of the first district. I remember that in all possible way, I'll make it sure that I have covered their faces before I go out in our house or in the building we're in.
         We have discussed about the Microsoft Windows (2003), the Control Panel, short-cut commands, and how to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and typing exercises in letters and numbers. It is really helpful to me because in my elementary to high school days, I'm really struggling in using computer! I always seek help how to save my file because I'm scared that I might damage it! What I know only is the copy-paste command. Yes its true but I am not ashamed of it rather than to be blame because I have damage it then they will ask me, why didn't you seek our help? Anyway, past is past. My favorite is the typing exercises, all of us were concentrated in typing, some of us are really fast, me? I'm always behind.. how sad right? yes its true but the good thing is I'm good in numbers, my WPM in this reached 250 in just 4 days, hooray! Actually, I didn't finish my training because I am preparing the requirements for the entrance exam in La Verdad, in fact the training is extended because of the OJT but I choose to study first in college for it is the proper education. I am not sorry for my decision, I can do it again in God's will.
         Now that I am better in typing and to have more practices, then, I'll be faster and faster, in the end, I am not just good in typing but also good in grades.

COMPUTER 1

         The first time I heard the word Ergonomics when our instructor asked about it, I have really no idea! Our instructor said that it is the Science of Human engineering. What I learned about it is through natural ways we can make our work easier and comfortable so that our body can function well. I'm glad to know and understand the proper positioning of the body while using a computer because I have problems while using it, my back aches, my neck, my shoulders, in the end, I cant finish my work earlier. 

          When I got home and to see my father that he is not in good position while using our computer, I immediately told him all that I know what he must do, and to see him obeying me, it's really overwhelming and he also laughs at me because of what I have done. He told me that I am really learning at La Verdad! I'm so proud. One of my funniest and memorable experience with my father.

          I hope that most of us are following the right thing for it is our own advantage.
